Finance Rate Application Privacy and Credit Reporting Notice for Individuals
Effective: 12 November 2025
This notice is issued by Angle Auto Finance Pty Ltd ACN 161 130 696 (trading as Ford Finance) (“Ford Finance“, “we“, “us” or “our“) and sets out how Ford Finance collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information and credit eligibility information as permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the “Privacy Act“) and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code (the “Code“).
1. Collection, use and disclosure of your information
We collect, use and disclose your personal information (such as your name, address and contact details) in order to provide you with a finance rate or estimate of repayments for any finance that you might apply for from us and to communicate with you about your application and to respond to your enquiries. Depending on the type of finance application that you make, we may also collect, use and disclose your credit score (which is a type of credit eligibility information) for these purposes. Applications for a finance rate can be for an advertised campaign rate, for a standard finance rate set out in our financing rate card or for a personalised finance rate. Your dealer will discuss with you which of these finance rate options you are eligible to apply for, which may be based on the type of vehicle or other asset that you are seeking finance for. We will only disclose your personal information to a credit reporting body for the purpose of obtaining a credit score to provide you with a personalised finance rate instead. If you apply for a personalised finance rate, we will collect your credit score from this credit reporting body and use and disclose your credit score for the purposes listed above.
If we cannot collect your personal information (or your credit score, you apply for a personalised finance rate), we may be unable to provide you with a finance rate for any loan that you apply for or we may not be able to provide finance or other products or services to you.
